The Parent-Child Home Program requires that all site coordinators complete 3 days of an Initial Training Institute before implementing the program. This Training Institute is offered by training staff from the National Center, or designated regional representatives, and is scheduled according to demand. Only site coordinators and other staff employed by an agency or school that has signed a Replication Agreement with the PCHP National Center may attend. The next scheduled Training Institutes will take place on:
- January 29-31, 2019 at the PCHP National Center in Mineola, New York

All new Site Coordinators are also required to complete their certification by attending a Follow-Up Training within a year of program implementation. The Follow-Up Training is offered in conjunction with the PCHP Annual Conference.
MINEOLA, NEW YORK August 2018 – The Parent-Child Home Program National Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Tiffany Lee as the new Director of the Family Child Care Home Visiting Initiative. “When crafting the job announcement, we imagined an individual with professional experience and achievement similar to Tiffany’s,” said Sarah Walzer, CEO of the Parent-Child Home Program. “Tiffany has a comprehensive knowledge of Family Child Care as well as extensive experience with relationship-based professional development. This strength in concert with her commitment to serving those furthest from opportunity and her knowledge of state systems positions her well to lead the national expansion of PCHP’s Family Child Care Home Visiting Initiative.”
Ms. Lee will join Parent-Child Home Program with over 10 years of experience in early care and education. She worked for the Department of Defense as a Training and Curriculum Specialist where she developed training and supported providers’ pursuit of national accreditation. As a regional manager for the Child Care Action Council/Early Achievers, she led a team of coaches in creating and delivering supports to providers in center and family-based settings. As the state Director of Quality Improvement and Professional Development for Child Care Aware of Washington, she administered the state’s system of coaching and training for child care providers across the state. In her new position, she will be working with PCHP sites across the country as well as state, county, and city child care agencies on the national expansion of the PCHP FCC model bringing quality school readiness supports to providers and parents in under-resourced communities.
